Forbidden Fruit: Cut it Off | Matt Scully | Trinity Church
We’re kicking off a brand-new series, Forbidden Fruit, with a message titled “Cut It Off.”
Not everything we allow into our lives produces good fruit. Sometimes we become so comfortable with unhealthy habits, toxic patterns, and things that pull us away from God that we stop recognizing the damage they’re causing. But following Jesus means learning to recognize bad fruit, refusing to tolerate what’s unhealthy, and having the courage to cut off anything that keeps us from becoming who God has called us to be.
In this message, we’re challenged to take an honest look at our lives, identify what doesn’t belong, and stop making room for the very things that are holding us back. You can’t keep producing good fruit while holding on to what’s poisoning the roots. It’s time to recognize it, confront it, and cut it off.
